Dr. Jones has been Director of Missions since October 1, 2005. He came to this position after serving as a senior pastor for 24 years in 3 churches in Texas. He is married to Karen and they have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. Dr. Jones has a MDiv. degree, a DMin. degree and 2 PhD degrees, one in apologetics and one in leadership. Bill has a passion to see churches become healthy, start new works, and train churches to become "disciple making churches".
Karen came to this position on June 1, 2014. She has a MRE Degree from Southwestern Seminary and a Master of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin University. She is a retired public school counselor and enjoys working part time in this position. She also loves spending time with her grandchildren and talking often to her sons by phone. She is vitally involved in teaching in the NRBA churches and has a passion to see disciple makers who make disciples who make disciples...
